Littelfuse, Inc. Datasheets for Diacs

Diacs are bi-directional diodes that switch AC voltages and trigger silicon controlled rectifiers (SCRs) and triacs. Except for a small leakage current, diacs do not conduct until the breakover voltage is reached.

The Kxxx1GL Series Multipulse™ SIDAC generates the multiple high voltage pulses required to ignite metal-halide lamps. Its quick turn-off characteristics allow generating a minimum of three pulses per AC half-cycle.
The Multipulse™ SIDAC is a voltage switch used in Metal-Halide lamp ignition circuits as well as High Pressure Sodium lamp ignition circuits for outdoor street and area lighting. This robust...
The new K2xx0yHUis a higher energy SIDAC switch for gas ignition applications requiring higher current pulse current especially at low repetition rate. It is offered in a DO-15 leaded package.
The new Kxxx0yH is a higher energy SIDAC switch for gas ignition applications requiring higher current pulse current especially at low repetition rate. It is offered in a DO-15 and...
The SIDAC is a silicon bilateral voltage triggered switch. Upon application of a voltage exceeding the SIDAC breakover voltage point, the SIDAC switches on through a negative resistance region to...
The SIDAC is a silicon unilateral voltage triggered switch. Upon application of a voltage exceeding the SIDAC breakover voltage point, the SIDAC switches on through a negative resistance region to...
The SIDAC is a silicon unilateral voltage triggered switch. Upon application of a voltage exceeding the SIDAC breakover voltage point, the SIDAC switches on through a negativeresistance region to a...
