Electro Optical Components, Inc. Datasheets for Polarizing Cube Beamsplitters
Polarizing cube beamsplitters divide unpolarized light into two orthogonally polarized beams at 90° to each other. The transmitted beam is mostly polarized parallel to the plane of incidence (p-polarized), and the reflected beam is mostly polarized perpendicular to the plane of incidence (s-polarized).

Product Name | Notes |
---|---|
Polarizing Beam Splitter, Rochon Type | In this arrangement one polarization state is transmitted undeviated through the prism while the orthogonal component is deviated approximately 10°. The straight through component is clearly chromatic while the deviated... |
Beamsplitter Cubes | Made from BK7 glass with 60-40 surface quality. |
Polarizing Beam Splitter, Wollaston Type | Wollaston prism polarizing beam splitters consist of two equal angle calcite prisms optically coupled with optic axis orthogonally crossed to the direction of propagation. The beam separation of about 20° |
