Thermowells are designed to accept numerous types of temperature probes. They are used to easily facilitate the repair of temperature sensing devices without interrupting the process being monitored.

Application:

Standard Threaded Wells -- Series 385S


Application:
Standard Length, 3/8" stem, bimetal thermometers; #14 gage thermocouple elements. Unarmored liquid-in-glass test thermometers. Other temperature-sensing elements having .377 in. maximum diameter.

Flanged Thermowells -- Series 260F, Flanged Thermowells -- Series 385F

Application: 260F series fits standard length 1/4" diameter elements. 385F series fits standard length 3/8" diameter elements.

Van Stone Thermowells -- Series 260V, Van Stone Thermowells -- Series 385V

Application: 260V series fits standard length 1/4" diameter elements. 385V series fits standard length 3/8" diameter elements.

Socket-Weld Design Thermowells -- Series 260W, Socket-Weld Design Thermowells -- Series 385W

Application: 260W series fits standard length 1/4" diameter elements. 385W series fits standard length 3/8" diameter elements.

General Purpose Test Well -- Series 385A

Application: Armored liquid-in-glass test thermometers. #14 gage test thermocouples. Bimetal test thermometers.

Standard Threaded Well -- Series 445L, Standard Threaded Well -- Series 445S

Application: Fits liquid-in-glass thermometers made to S.A.M.A. standards. Tapered bore is made .008 in. oversize to eliminate possibility of thermometer bulb expanding into the well, thus preventing removal.

Heavy Duty Threaded Well -- Series 260H, Standard Threaded Well -- Series 260L, Standard Threaded Well -- Series 260S

Application: Standard Length, 1/4" stem, bimetal thermometers; #20 gage thermocouple elements; unarmored liquid-in-glass test thermometers. Other temperature-sensing elements having .252 in. maximum diameter.

Limited Space Thermowells -- Series 260A

Application: Used where short insertion length is necessary as in short legs of tees, etc. This well also fits the 2 1/2" length bimetal thermometer with 1/4" stem diameter.
