The S.I.Tech 2092 is a 10 Gigabit optical repeater bit-driver designed to extend fiber optic link distances up to 10 km with single-mode fiber or convert between multimode and single-mode fiber. It features LC connectors, operates in full duplex NRZ or encoded data mode, and is powered by the S.I.Tech #2164 power supply. The device has a metal enclosure measuring 4.17" x 3.62" x 1.22" (10.54 x 9.27 x 3 cm) and weighs 0.8 lb (365 g). It operates on 10 to 32 VDC with a power consumption of 2.5 W, and functions within a temperature range of 0°C to 50°C. The unit meets FCC Class B, Part 15 requirements and supports data rates from 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps as specified on the purchase order. It does not regenerate the signal.
