The VRX51 vibrating probe level sensor with flexible cable extension now includes a bright, built-in LED status indicator for monitoring bulk inventory levels and plugged chutes. The light can easily be seen from afar, changing color based on if material is or is not covering the probe.
The VRX51 is mounted in ordinary conditions, at the top of a vessel with 1 1/2" NPT threads. Its steel-rope reinforced cable can be extended from 19” to 19.5’ (48.26 cm to 5.94 m) into the vessel, ending in an attached sword-shaped vibrating probe.
This rugged, flexible cable resists damage, making the VRX51 a preferred choice in environments where material may fall onto or heavily impact the probe. Like other VRX models, the VRX51 outperforms other point level sensors in measuring low-dielectric solids as light as 1.9 lb./ft.³ (30 g/liter).
The VRX51’s die-cast aluminum power pac—rated NEMA Type 4X—features 3/4" NPT conduit entries, a screw-off cover, and USDA-approved powder coat finish. VRX flexible extensions are made to order in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA to best fit your application.
