The TECIRL-980 is an infrared laser diode module with integrated thermoelectric cooling for stable operation at 980 nm with an output power of 50-100 mW. It features a compact cylindrical package measuring 25.3 mm in diameter and 76.2 mm in length, operates on 3.3 V DC with less than 1.2 A current, and maintains laser power stability under 0.5% and RMS noise below 0.5%. The module delivers an elliptical collimated beam with a typical diameter of 5 mm and divergence less than 1 mrad, requiring a warm-up time of under one minute. It is rated for operation between +10°C and +40°C and includes an APC/ACC control circuit. A heat sink is recommended for extended use.
