The COMPACT-488 is a compact laser diode module integrating a laser and control electronics with a touch-screen interface for manual operation. It emits visible blue light at 488 ±2 nm with an optical output power of 5-50 mW, exhibiting laser power stability better than 1% and RMS noise below 5%. The laser operates in single mode with vertical polarization and an elliptical beam profile, with beam divergence under 1 mrad and beam pointing stability under ±10 µrad over 10-40°C. It requires 5 V DC at less than 1.2 A and features internal modulation up to 50 kHz and external modulation up to 1 MHz. The module measures 40 mm wide, 42.5 mm high, and 100 mm long, and operates between +10°C and +40°C. It includes USB control and a warm-up time under one minute.
COMPACT computer controlled laser system is an integrated laser head and control electronics in a single compact box. USB/RS-232 interface allows the user to set the laser power, temperature and variable laser modulation sequences.
