Visual Sound, Inc. Analog Audio Monitor Amplifier, 18 Watts 1626/1018

Description
LINK Electronics The 1626 is designed to take an external or an internal stereo analog audio line level signal and amplify it to an audible speaker level. The 1626 is a single module with an accompanying 1018 rear cell for use with the 1000 series audio products. The audio source is selected with a front panel toggle switch. A single shaft modular pot located at the top of the 1626 module controls the volume. Also, located on the lower front is a quarter inch phono jack for monitoring with headphones. The speakers are connected to the 1018 screw terminals blocks. On the rear cell, a balanced output of the frame audio buss is also available. Further, the 1626 offers a low power mode that allows limiting the total speaker output to 5 watts. This could be used to protect the speakers, to conserve power usage from the frame, or limit heat build-up. The external balanced or unbalanced source can be connected via 1018 rear cell through screw type terminal blocks. The internal source can be pulled from the audio bus inside the DIGIFLEX 1000 frame. The incoming signal level (both channels) can be monitored with the front panel LED level meter. Single Volume control Selectable Audio Source (Internal, External) Visible Audio Level Monitoring Headphone Monitoring Jack 18 Watts of Audio Power Per Channel (peak) High Common Mode Rejection Balanced input Power Limiting Selectable(Single Ended) Input pad Easily Removed Rear cell Balanced External Audio Input Screw Terminal Connectors Balanced Input/Output
