SCHURTER Inc Shock-Safe Fuseholder, 5 x 20 mm, Slotted Cap, horizontal FAB

The FAB is a shock-safe fuseholder designed for 5 x 20 mm fuse-links, mounted horizontally on a PCB with solder-through terminals. It has a rated voltage of 250 VAC and a rated current of 10 A (VDE) or 12 A (UL), with an admissible power acceptance of 2.5 W at 23 °C. The housing is made of thermoplastic with UL 94V-0 rating, terminals are copper alloy with tin plating, and it meets IP40 protection. Operating temperature ranges from -40 °C to 85 °C, with dielectric strength exceeding 3 kV and insulation resistance of at least 10 MΩ. The device complies with IEC 60127-6, UL 4248-1, CSA C22.2 No. 4248.1, and is suitable for applications per IEC 62368-1 and IEC 60335-1. Dimensions are 31.5 mm in length, with terminals designed for THT mounting. Unit weight is 5.4 g.
