The PS10 flush-mounted captive panel screw is a non-spring-loaded fastener designed for installation in sheets as thin as 0.050 inch (1.27 mm) and is available in metric thread sizes with a 300 series stainless steel construction. For the M5 x 0.8 thread size, the nominal screw length is 8.38 mm, head height is 1.91 mm, diameter is 7.10 mm, and thickness is 3.30 mm. The threads comply with ASME B1.13M, 6g, and the finish meets ASTM A380. The screw remains captive in its retainer when disengaged and is intended for use with PR10 retainers or N10 receptacle nuts in materials with hardness up to HRB 80. It complies with UL 60950 standards.
