The optris CTlaser 1M is a non-contact infrared thermometer for precise temperature measurement of metals, metal oxides, and ceramics, with a temperature range of 485 to 1050 °C for the 1ML variant. It features double laser aiming for accurate spot identification, an optical resolution of 150:1, a measuring wavelength of 1.0 μm, and a response time of 1 ms. The sensing head weighs 600 g and operates at ambient temperatures up to 85 °C without cooling, with automatic laser shutoff above 50 °C. It is rated IP65 (NEMA-4) and complies with IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 for vibration and shock. Outputs include analog and digital interfaces, with signal processing options such as peak/valley hold and averaging. The system accuracy is ±(0.3% of reading + 2 °C) at 23 ±5 °C, and repeatability is ±(0.1% of reading + 1 °C).
