The optris CTex LT is an intrinsically safe infrared temperature sensing system designed for use in hazardous areas, featuring a passive IR receiver installed in explosive atmospheres with energy limitation via two double Zener barriers (type Z955). The system is certified for use under ATEX, IECEx, FM, and UL standards, with marking [Ex ia Ga] IIC, [Ex ia Da] IIIC, and [Ex ia Ma] I. The sensing head includes aluminum housing, shielded FEP cable up to 15 m, and is rated for ambient temperatures from -20 °C to 60 °C with IEC 60529 protection. It complies with Directive 2014/34/EU and EN IEC 60079-0:2018+AC:2020
