The optris CSvideo 3M is a two-wire infrared thermometer for temperature measurements of metals and ceramics from 50 °C to 600 °C, featuring video sighting and a patented crosshair laser for alignment. It has a front-mountable sensing head weighing 600 g and is rated IP65 (NEMA-4). Available in two versions, 3ML and 3MH, it offers spectral ranges of 2.3 μm, optical resolutions of 60:1 or 100:1, and response times as low as 20 ms. It supports analog output (4-20 mA), digital USB 2.0 video (640 × 480 px), and alarm output (0-30 V, 500 mA). The sensor operates with a 5-28 V DC power supply, withstands ambient temperatures up to 70 °C (with laser off), and allows manual focusing from 90 mm to infinity depending on optics choice.
The video pyrometer optris CSvideo 3M is perfectly suited for low-temperature measurement of metals and composite materials starting from 50 °C. Combined with the innovative and patented crosshair laser and its integrated video sighting, the infrared sensor is convenient to use in hard-to-reach areas and when measuring objects at such high temperatures that the laser visor is no longer visible.
