Surface mount coin cell retainer designed for 16mm coin cells such as BR1612, CR1616, CR1620, and DL1632, featuring a dual spring contact for reliable battery connection and Tin-Nickel plating for low contact resistance and high-temperature soldering compatibility. The retainer is 16.9mm high, 15.1mm long, 23.2mm wide, and mounted using surface mount technology with solder tails for visual inspection. It is compatible with ANSI/EIA-481 standard carrier tape, supplied in 44mm wide reels with 24mm pitch at 600 units per reel. The housing is made of 0.010 in. phosphor bronze, and the design allows battery replacement without tools while using PCB pads as negative contacts.
