Corning Optical Communications Cross-Connect Indoor Convergence Cabinets LS Series

The OptiTect® Indoor Local Convergence Cabinet, LS Series provides everything necessary to manage up to 432 distribution fibers for indoor FTTx applications. All cabinets share the same intuitive and efficient cable routing and splitter storage. Each cabinet provides superior ergonomics with full front access, which results in minimal installation time, quick connections and ultimately increased profits. Distribution panel can easily swing out if deemed necessary. To ensure backplane protection, the indoor LS cabinet comes with a factory-installed, removable brush guard.

Feeder fibers, distribution fibers, splitter modules, splicing and unused splitter output storage are all contained within a single, rugged, wall- or rack-mountable enclosure. Factory preconnectorization and installation of feeder and riser cable(s), or splice capability, ensure a quick, easy and reliable installation in the field.

The OptiTect Indoor Local Convergence Cabinet, LS Series was developed to provide the same features provided in the outside plant OptiTect Local Convergence Cabinet. These features include the “pass-through” capabilities quick field placement and parking of splitter modules, and the best-in-class fiber management.

The OptiTect Indoor Local Convergence Cabinet, LS Series is available in multiple configurations. It can be purchased pigtailed, fully stubbed or partially stubbed.

The OptiTect Local Convergence Cabinet, LS Cross-Connect Series is an innovative solution that is the optimal balance between size, density and access. Each cabinet provides superior ergonomics with full front access, resulting in minimal installation time, quick connections and ultimately increased profits.

The OptiTect LS Cross-Connect Cabinet was developed with the field craft in mind. In this unique cabinet design, cable toning is simple, providing customers more flexibility and deployment options. All five cabinet sizes (144, 288, 432, 576, 864) offer capabilities for commercial services or other high–bandwidth applications, as well as multiple mounting options to accommodate exclusive below ground and aerial plant installations.

One of the many features that the OptiTect Local Convergence Cabinet, LS Series offers is the field–replaceable shell. This feature allows operators the ability to avoid interrupting service while installing a new cabinet should the shell become damaged or vandalized. The cabinet simplicity offers an easy solution to allow for patching between fiber channels.
