The EVP series is a line of 2-way proportional control valves for precise air or gas flow regulation, designed for applications such as analytical instruments, ventilators, and blood pressure monitoring. The valve features a single moving part for long life and low friction, consumes 1.9 watts at 72°F, and is available with Nitrile, FKM, or EPDM seals. It supports input voltage ranges of 0 to 5 VDC, 0 to 10 VDC, or 0 to 20 VDC, and operates with a maximum pressure of 50 psig for the 0.040" orifice. Mounting options include in-line and manifold configurations, with both wire lead and connector interface types. The valve has a compact design, with an overall size of 1.560 in length, 0.875 in width, and 0.500 in height for the in-line mount. Flow is proportional to input current, with maximum flow of 18.7 l/min at 50 psig for the 0.040" orifice.
Clippard is pleased to offer the EVP Series Proportional Control Valve as part of our Electronic Valve product line. This product combines the features of the existing EV series valve—long life, low power, and Clippard's reputation for high quality components—with the additional capability of proportional control. The EVP series valve provides air or gas flow control, and varies the output flow based on the current input to the solenoid. The consistent gain of this valve provides a high degree of control for many applications.
