The EVP series is a line of 2-way proportional control valves for precise air or gas flow regulation in applications such as analytical instruments, ventilators, and blood pressure monitoring. The valve operates with a single moving part, consumes 1.9 watts at 73°F, and supports input currents of 0 to 0.185 amps for 0 to 10 VDC control. It features a #10-32 threaded inlet and outlet, nitrile seals as standard, and offers five orifice sizes including 0.009 inch for low-flow applications. The valve is available in in-line and manifold mounting configurations with a maximum operating pressure of 100 psig for the 0.009 inch orifice. Its compact design and proportional response to current input enable fine control for calibration and process applications.
Clippard is pleased to offer the EVP Series Proportional Control Valve as part of our Electronic Valve product line. This product combines the features of the existing EV series valve—long life, low power, and Clippard's reputation for high quality components—with the additional capability of proportional control. The EVP series valve provides air or gas flow control, and varies the output flow based on the current input to the solenoid. The consistent gain of this valve provides a high degree of control for many applications.
