Churod Americas, Inc. 250A High Voltage Direct Current Relay CHPV-S250

CHPV-S250 is a 250A high voltage direct current relay designed for energy storage, solar inverters, and charging applications. It features ceramic brazing sealed technology with hydrogen gas filling to ensure low and stable contact resistance, IP67-rated contacts, and a 1500VDC switching capability. The relay supports continuous current at 85°C and can handle peak currents up to 2000A for 0.6 seconds. It includes a 1-form-A main contact and a 1-form-A auxiliary contact rated for 24VDC, 100mA. Coil options are 12VDC or 24VDC with nominal power of 55W or 6W respectively. Operating time is ≤50ms, release time ≤15ms, and mechanical endurance exceeds 2×10⁵ operations. The device weighs approximately 810g and mounts horizontally or vertically using M6 screws with 6-8 N·m torque. Insulation resistance exceeds 1000MΩ at 1000VDC, and dielectric strength is 4kV between coil and contacts. Ambient operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C.
