The CHEV-P250 is a 250A high voltage DC relay for electric vehicle charging, photovoltaic, and energy storage systems. It uses ceramic brazing and hydrogen-filled contacts to ensure arc containment and stable low resistance, rated for 250 A continuous at 85°C and switching up to 750 Vd.c. Contact resistance is ≤50 mΩ at rated current, with insulation resistance of 1000 MΩ at 1000 Vd.c. and dielectric strength of 4.0 kV between coil and contacts per IEC 60664-1. It operates from -40°C to 85°C, withstands vibration up to 49 m/s², and has mechanical endurance of 2×10⁵ cycles. The relay mounts via M5 screws and uses M6 screw terminals for 100 mm² wires. Its package measures 95.0 mm × 45.0 mm × 85.0 mm, and it weighs approximately 570 g.
