BinMaster, Inc. Vibrating Probe Level Sensor VRX61

Description
Replacing BinMaster’s SHT-120, the VRX61 vibrating probe level sensor for high temperatures is designed for use in harsh processing environments up to 480°F (250°C). Its new feature—a bright, built-in LED status indicator—can be viewed from afar, turning from green to red based on whether material is or is not covering the probe and damping its vibration. VRX61 exceeds in measuring low-dielectric bulk solids as light as 1.9 lb./ft.³ (30 g/liter) such as fly ash, flakes, or pellets. The sensor utilizes a 24 VDC or 115/230 VAC power supply. The sword-shaped vibrating blade has a 7.25” insertion length into the vessel to detect high, mid, or low point-level conditions. It can be mounted at the top, side, or cone of a bin, tank, silo, or vessel with 1 1/2" NPT threads. By providing reliable level alerts in high-temperature environments, users can keep workers safe from heated materials, reduce material waste, and know when to order more when material levels get too low. BinMaster’s VRX61 features DPDT relay contacts, allowing the user to preset two switching outputs—such as to “covered” and “uncovered”—plus configurable time delay settings and selectable fail-safe protection. The VRX61’s die-cast aluminum power pac—rated NEMA Type 4X—features 3/4" NPT dual conduit entries, a screw-off cover, and USDA-approved powder coat finish. Its self-cleaning capabilities and rugged, heat-resistant design offer a long, dependable service life. Additional configurations of the VRX61 are available to best fit your application, from extended probes to vibrating forks and more.
