The BinMaster MVL 3D Level Scanner is a multiple-scanner system for large-diameter bins, synchronizing data from multiple units to generate a 3D image and calculate accurate volume. It operates with a 70° beam angle, measures up to 200 ft in height, and requires a minimum 10 ft bin diameter. Outputs include 4-20 mA/HART, Modbus, or RS-485. The housing is painted aluminum die-cast with a polycarbonate window and steel flange, rated IP67. Standard ambient temperature range is -40°F to +185°F; the high-temperature variant reaches +356°F. It is powered by 20-32 VDC at up to 1.5 W and certified for Class I, II, Division I, Groups C, D, E, F, G hazardous locations under CFM, IECEx, and CE standards.
In very large bins, tanks or silos, the BinMaster MVL 3D multiple-scanner system is the answer for precise inventory management. The MVL system integrates multiple-point measurement data from two or more 3D Level Scanners to cover a very wide surface area which makes it able to estimate inventory volume with greater accuracy than previously available from any level measurement device. Using advanced processing and software, the MVL displays a visual representation of the material surface showing high and low points in the bin such as cone up, cone down, sidewall buildup or bridging.
