The IsoGARD® IG-14 is a Class III biological safety cabinet designed for the safe handling of hazardous microbiological agents and pharmaceutical potent compounds. It features an integral, full-size HEPA-filtered pass-through chamber with a front-opening glass panel door, facilitating easy sample introduction while maintaining containment. The cabinet ensures uniform unidirectional airflow to effectively flush away particles and provides a HEPA-filtered environment for the work surface. Constructed with thick safety glass and solid closed-cell silicone gaskets, the IsoGARD® IG-14 includes a stainless steel glove port design that allows for glove replacement without compromising containment. It meets stringent performance and leak-testing requirements as defined by the U.S. Federal Register, making it suitable for BSL-3 and -4 facilities. The cabinet is equipped with ceiling-mounted supply HEPA filters to maintain an ISO Class 4 operating environment and features a gas-tight construction with a pass-through chamber for material transfer. Dual digital gauges monitor operating pressures in both the pass-through and main chambers. Ergonomic design elements enhance user comfort, and optional accessories are available to customize the cabinet for specific needs.
