The Glasrope® Heater series consists of flexible electric heaters in tape or rope form, designed for spot heating ofpipes, valves, and similar surfaces. The series includes Single and Double configurations, with nominal diameters of 0.165 inches and lengths up to 120 inches. Single heaters offer up to 600 watts at 120 volts based on 5 watts per linear inch, while Double heaters provide up to 960 watts at 120 volts based on 8 watts per linear inch. Both use high-temperature knitted serpentine elements with heavy braided fiberglass covers and feature 2-foot high-temperature leads. Maximum operating temperature is 1400°F for Double Glasrope® heaters. Units are manufactured in the U.S.A.
Applications:
Pipes, Tubes, and other similar apparatus where spot or particular locations need to be warmed. Odd shapes such as: Laboratory Beakers, Valves, and Piping, Appliances, Drier Units for Blueprint Machines, Incubators, and Tracers for Pipe Lines.
