The MRF1090MB is a microwave pulse power silicon NPN transistor designed for Class B and C common base amplifier applications in TACAN, IFF, and DME transmitters operating at 960-1215 MHz. It delivers 90 W peak output power at 1090 MHz with a minimum gain of 8.4 dB and is 100% tested for load mismatch at all phase angles with a 10:1 VSWR. The device features internal input matching for broadband operation, gold metallization for long life and resistance to metal migration, and nitride passivation. It is housed in an industry-standard package.
