The VF-3204A SAASM solution adds a special interface to allow the unit to operate with the highly popular Rockwell Collins DAGRTM handheld SAASM receiver (available separately from Rockwell Collins to authorized users), allowing the unit to be used in critical field applications. The VF-3204A can be configured as a high performance frequency standard, a comprehensive time standard, or both. Performance is application tailored with local rubidium oscillator. In standard configuration, the unit is equipped with 10MHz, 1 PPS and IRIG-B (am) outputs. Additional options for other output frequencies are also available (see options table). Internal RF distribution can be fitted to provide up to 24 10MHz outputs. In addition to the standard 1 PPS and IRIG-B outputs the unit provides NTP. The 1 PPS output is accurate within <120 ns (1 sigma) of UTC (USNO).
