The airborne particle-counting hygiene meter PCE-RCM 12 is used for indicative testing of environmental parameters. The airborne particle-counting hygiene meter PCE-RCM 12 enables the measurement of CO2, fine dust, temperature and relative humidity. The bright display of the airborne particle-counting hygiene meter provides information about these parameters. Environmental monitoring can be done continuously with the airborne particle-counting hygiene meter for up to five hours without the device being connected to a power source.
For permanent measurement, the hygiene meter can be connected to AC power via a USB interface. The rechargeable battery will be recharged within two hours if the air quality monitor is turned off. When measuring carbon dioxide, the meter has a wide measuring range from 0 to 9,999 ppm. The display of the concentrations is further facilitated by the use of a color rating scale, as this provides direct information about the air quality to the user.
In addition to the indicative measurement of formaldehyde, which can be harmful to health, an indicative measurement of particulate matter pollution can also be carried out. A distinction is made between particles with a maximum diameter of up to 10 μm (PM10) and particles up to a diameter of 2.5 μm (PM2.5).
