Newport MKS Variable Size Lens Mount, 5.0-46.2 mm, Thumbscrew Support Arms AC-1A

The AC-1A Universal Fixed Lens Mount has been designed for versatility, ease of use and performance. It provides rigid support and assured orientation for 5.0 to 46.2 mm diameter round objects of virtually any thickness and length. Their three Delrin support arms slide smoothly for easy position adjustment and are secured in place by thumbscrews. Installing optics is easy. Set the lower support arms at any desired radius; insert your element; and adjust the top arm downward to securely hold the optic. The support arms are designed with a narrow V-groove on one end for mounting thin lenses, and a broad modified V-groove (L-shaped) tip on the other end for mounting thick lenses, mirrors, and beamsplitters. To change tips, simply remove the thumbscrew and reverse the support arms. Long objects, like cylindrical laser heads, can be supported using two AC Series mounts. The AC Series Adjustable Lens Mounts incorporate a counter bored clearance hole in their base, compatible with both 8-32 and M4 screws. This allows for easy attachment to English or Metric SP and MSP Series posts, as well as Newport’s PS Series Pedestal Posts. The lens is held at a 31.8 mm axis height.
