The AS-series subminiature slide switches are designed for low-voltage, logic-level circuits, featuring a nonshorting (break-before-make) contact timing and a 50,000-cycle mechanical and electrical life. The AS12BV is a single-pole, double-throw switch with a .150" (3.8mm) long actuator and right-angle PCB terminals, mounted on a tin-plated phosphor bronze bracket for ESD protection. The switch measures .386" x .098" x .200" (9.8mm x 2.5mm x 5.08mm), with .100" (2.54mm) terminal spacing. Contacts are gold-plated phosphor bronze and brass, with a contact resistance of 50 milliohms maximum and insulation resistance of 500 megohms minimum. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. The actuator is glass fiber reinforced polyamide, with an antistatic upper housing of carbon-blended polyacetal.
