The Optris Xi 05M MeltScope is a compact, rugged infrared camera for non-contact temperature measurement of very hot materials, with a spectral range of 500-540 nm and a temperature range up to 2450 °C. It features a 396 × 300 pixel CMOS detector, motorized focus, and operates at up to 500 Hz in line scanning mode. The device has an IP67-rated enclosure measuring Ø36 mm × 112-126.5 mm, an operating temperature range of 5 °C to 50 °C, and is powered by 8-30 V DC, PoE, or USB. It includes Ethernet, USB, and RS485 interfaces, supports EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and Profinet, and provides up to three analog outputs and three alarm relay outputs. The system includes PIX Connect software and is rated for shock and vibration according to IEC 60068-2-27, IEC 60068-2-6, and IEC 60068-2-64.
