The optris CTvideo 2M is a non-contact infrared pyrometer for precise temperature measurement of metals and ceramics from 250 °C to 2000 °C, featuring parallel video sighting and a crosshair laser for alignment. It uses a 1.6 μm spectral range and offers optical resolutions of 150:1 (2ML) or 300:1 (2MH, 2MH1) with manual focus adjustable from 90 mm to 250 mm or 200 mm to infinity. The sensing head measures 600 g and operates in ambient temperatures up to 70 °C with laser active, with an IP65 (NEMA-4) environmental rating. It includes analog outputs (0/4-20 mA, 0-5/10 V, thermocouple J/K), a USB 2.0 digital video interface, and comes with Compact Connect software for setup and monitoring. The system is powered by 8-36 V DC and is rated for shock and vibration per IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-64.
