The CTi 2M pyrometer operates at a wavelength of 1.6 µm and is well suited for non-contact temperature measurement on uncoated metal surfaces across a temperature range of 150 °C to 2000 °C. For metal applications, the shortest wavelength infrared pyrometer that fully covers the required target temperature range should be selected to minimize errors caused by emissivity variations and reflected background radiation.
