The 7814 is a vertical, 4-tab Sturdi-Mount PC quick-fit header assembly with brass tabs, designed for rugged multi-insertion applications. It features a thermoplastic insulator rated UL 94V-0, maintains terminal perpendicularity for wave soldering, and supports a current rating of 15 amps at 500V AC with a temperature range of -50°C to +145°C. The tab dimensions are .250 inch (6.4 mm) in width and .032 inch (0.81 mm) in thickness. The header is pre-assembled to reduce PCB assembly costs and increase board retention strength.
