The Eye Safe 1535nm Microchip Laser from Electro Optical Components, Inc. is a diode-pumped, passively Q-switched laser designed for applications requiring eye-safe operation. It operates at a wavelength of 1535nm and offers two pulse energy options: 100OºJ and 300OºJ. The pulse width is approximately 5 to 6 nanoseconds, with a beam divergence of less than 6 mrad and a repetition rate of 10 Hz. This laser is lightweight, with weights of 9g for the 100OºJ version and 11g for the 300OºJ version, and features compact dimensions of 22x8x6 mm and 28x8x6 mm, respectively. It can function within a wide temperature range of -40 to 50 degrees Celsius for operation and -40 to 90 degrees Celsius for storage. The device is rated for over 7 million shots, making it suitable for long-term use in various applications, including laser range finding and military applications. Cooling is not required for operation, enhancing its usability in diverse environments.
The 532nm and 1064nm Sub-nanosecond Lasers (Microchip Lasers) are based on a passively Q-switched DPSS laser with pulse length of only a few hundred picoseconds. The high pulse energy and excellent beam quality make them an ideal source for industrial and scientific applications such as Raman spectroscopy, Mass spectrograph, LIBS – Atmospheric detection / Air Monitoring, LIDAR / Laser Ranging, LIPS – Seed Laser, LIMS – Optical Metrology and Non-linear optical measurement.
The pump diode module is integrated in the power supply. These lasers can be operated from external or internal trigger.
