In addition it provides a pointer sequencer capable of generating both standard (ANSI T1X1.6 andITU-T G.783) and user-defined pointer adjustment sequences. For correct operation, the unit must be used in conjunction with the Agilent E1671A SONET/SDH Transport Overhead Generator.
