The XC6805A2D14R-G is a linear charger IC designed for single-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer batteries. It operates in both Constant-Voltage (CV) and Constant-Current (CC) modes, featuring a charging cycle that includes a trickle charge followed by a main charge. This IC incorporates temperature control based on JEITA standards, allowing for safe charging by adjusting the CV charge voltage and CC charge current according to the battery temperature. The device supports a wide operating voltage range of 4.5V to 6.0V and can be configured to provide a charge current between 5mA and 40mA, adjustable via an external resistor. The fixed CV charge voltage is set at 4.2V, with a lower voltage of 4.05V available for high-temperature conditions.
