Thermal Wire and Cable LLC 250-121911

Description
Thermal Wire and Cable's PTFE Teflon insulated high voltage lead wire offers a wide service temperature range. Standard conductor material is nickel-plated copper. PTFE Teflon retains its properties after service at 260C (500F) to -80C. Thermal Wire and Cable's PTFE insulated conductors produce very little smoke when burned and are chemically inert to nearly all industrial chemicals and solvents. As a primary insulation PTFE couples superior dielectric properties, heat resistance and durability. PTFE insulated cables are 20 - 50% smaller in diameter which lends itself to applications where space is at a premium. Being a thermoset insulation, it does not melt or "shrink back" when hit with a soldering gun like PFA or FEP insulations can do. Intended use is internal wiring of appliance and electronic equipment. UL recognized. Thermal Wire and Cable's PTFE high voltage ignition cable typical applications include: gas ignitor systems for furnaces, gas water heaters, ovens, piezoelectric spark ignitors and similar applications to 260C (500F). Cable is available in fully pigmented colors to aid in positive identification. Stainless steel braid is available for additional mechanical protection. Please specify "etched" if you require an etched surface treatment for increased bondability to Teflon insulation. Teflon is a registered trademark of the Du Pont Corporation. Please specify color : 0-black, 1-tan, 2-red, 3-orange, 4-yellow, 5-green, 6-blue, 7-purple, 8-gray, 9-white. Stripe color example -100 tan base color with two black stripes. Intended Application : Electronic ignitor systems. Conductor options : Nickel-Plated copper conductor is standard. Solid or stranded Grade A (Nickel 200) available. Fiberglass braid or stainless steel braid for increased mechanical abrasion resistance. Larger sizes available upon request.
