Thermal Wire and Cable's SDT-200 lead wires offer a wide service temperature range of -65C to +200C. SDT-200 lead wire is insulated with Tefzel 750. SDT-200 Tefzel 750 insulated conductors are 30% smaller in diameter than conventional 200C (silicone rubber/glass braid) allowing installation in tight places. Also SDT-200 Tefzel 750 lead wires cost less than conventional PTFE insulated wires. The cost per 1000 feet is less and scrap is reduced due to long continuous lengths. SDT-200 Tefzel 750 lead wire produces very little smoke when burned, and are chemically inert to nearly all industrial chemicals and solvents. As a primary insulation Tefzel 750 couples superior dielectric properties, is abrasion resistant, heat resistant and it's durability is second to none. It's flexible nature and small diameter profile provides for easy, economical installations. Fully pigmented insulation in bright colors aids in positive identification. Compared with other high temperature cables that are augmented with a braid, SDT-200 Tefzel 750 insulated lead wire will slide rather than tear, yet it's abrasion resistance helps eliminate cut-through and other damage that can occur during installation and use. Thermal Wire and Cable's lead wire are 30% smaller in diameter than braided cable allowing more circuits per conduit. Tinned copper conductor is standard. Nickel-Plated copper 24-20AWG. Available in multi-conductor cables and shielded pairs. Available in sizes 32 - 4 AWG. Also available in 300V. Certain colors or stranding may require minimum orders.
