The TLV320AIC12CDBTR is a low-power, highly integrated mono voice codec designed for portable applications. It features a 16-bit analog-to-digital (A/D) and digital-to-analog (D/A) conversion with a maximum sampling rate of 26 kSPS. The codec utilizes oversampling sigma-delta technology, providing high-resolution signal conversion and an on-chip IIR/FIR filter that achieves 84 dB SNR for the ADC and 92 dB SNR for the DAC. This device supports a master clock of up to 100 MHz and includes a smart time division multiplexed (SMARTDM,Ñ¢) serial port for seamless integration with TI DSPs and microcontrollers. It allows for glueless cascading of up to 16 devices on a single serial port, making it suitable for multichannel applications.
