Plexus™ MA830 is a two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding metals without primers. In addition MA380 does a superb job of bonding thermoplastic and composite assemblies with little or no surface preparation. Combined at a 10:1 ratio, MA830 has a working time of 4 to 6 minutes and achieves 75% of ultimate strength in 20 to 25 minutes. This product provides a unique combination of high strength, excellent fatigue endurance, outstanding impact resistance, and superior toughness.
Offers excellent chemical resistance to acids, bases, salt solutions and hydrocarbons, however it can be susceptible to polar solvents, strong acids and bases. Plexus™ MA830 is recommended for ABS, Acrylics, FRP, Gelcoats, Steel, Carbon, PVC, Polyester, Styrenics, Urethanes, Vinyl Esters and Aluminum.
