Because these models are designed to reduce waste that is wet, they are ideal for restaurants, supermarkets, and hospitals, as well as many other locations where the trash that is generated has a high amount of liquid. Each self-contained compactor comes with a 10 Hp power unit that is energy efficient, heavy duty hinge that is the strongest on the market, a ratchet latch that tigtens against the door seal and insures a tight seal and an Operator Station that includes: safety key-lock, pull to start, push to stop, full container light and can be mounted in any convenient location. An optional drain system that can also be installed in the sump to separate the liquid for sanitary sewer disposal or even reuse in some cases.
