SC Hydraulic Engineering Corporation Air Driven Gas Booster GBD-75

Description
SC Hydraulic Engineering's gas boosters are available in four ratios: 5:1, 15:1, 30:1, and 75:1 in single-acting/single -stage, double-acting/single -stage, and single-acting/two-st age. In addition, double air drive models are available for effective boosting ratios of 60:1 and 150:1 in single and two-stage configurations. The gas boosters are used to intensify a variety of gases including argon, helium, nitrogen, and hydrogen. Some common uses with a booster or booster system are to scavenge bottled gases once the pressure has fallen below operational requirements, pressure testing vessels, laser cutting, aircraft ground support equipment and injection molding. Inlet gas supply pressures can be as low as 50 psig and outlet pressures up to 25,000 psi.

The GBD-75 Air Driven Gas Booster from SC Hydraulic Engineering Corporation is designed for high-pressure applications, capable of achieving a maximum rated gas outlet pressure of 20,000 psig (1,380 bar) with an inlet gas supply pressure of up to 6,000 psig (410 bar). It features a double head configuration, allowing it to achieve the same outlet pressure with half the input pressure compared to standard models. The inlet port is a 9/16"-18 coned and threaded connection suitable for ¬º,Äù O.D. tubing, and the drive inlet is a 3/4" NPT connection. The booster has a displacement of 1.2 cubic inches per cycle and operates effectively with a maximum recommended air drive pressure of 100 psi, and a maximum rated air drive pressure of 150 psi for static outlet stall pressure. This product is suitable for various applications, including pressure testing and gas scavenging.
