CHR¬Æ G565 is a heat-resistant fiberglass cloth backing coated tape designed for demanding applications. It features a silicone adhesive that provides strong adhesion to steel, with a typical value of 3.8 N/cm (35 oz/in). The tape has a total thickness of 0.178 mm (7 mil) and a backing thickness of 0.114 mm (4.5 mil). It exhibits excellent mechanical and electrical properties, along with high abrasion resistance and conformability. The operating temperature range is from -73 to +260 ¬8C (-100 to +500 ¬8F), making it suitable for high-temperature environments. CHR G565 is manufactured with non-halogen materials and meets Underwriters Laboratories specifications. It is available in roll lengths of 33 m and 55 m (36 yd and 60 yd) and can be slit to various widths. This product is particularly well-suited for applications requiring solvent resistance and a strong strength-to-weight ratio, such as in oil and motor applications.
CHR tape solutions include a broad range of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes (PSATs) supporting the most demanding extreme and exacting applications. Substrates include Polyester with silicone, rubber, acrylic, and proprietary adhesive systems.
