The RISH PFC12-12-Z-Z is a power factor controller designed for reactive power compensation. It manages external reactive power elements, such as capacitors, to meet the reactive power demands of connected loads, thereby reducing the burden on the power source. The controller features an auto-initialization function that detects the number of capacitors connected, their kvar values, and the phase correction angle. This model offers multiple output configurations, allowing each capacitor to be set as permanently on, permanently off, or in auto mode. It includes intelligent control to ensure equal use of system resources and has a capacitor health monitoring option. The device supports manual operation for diagnostics and features a test run function to measure the kVAr value of connected capacitor banks. The RISH PFC12-12-Z-Z is programmable for various parameters, including target power factor, bank kVAr values, and switching times. It provides comprehensive protection and alarm functions for various fault conditions, including over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, and temperature faults. The device is compliant with international safety and EMC standards and features an IP54-rated enclosure for dust and water protection. With a high-contrast LCD display, the controller logs minimum and maximum values for voltage, current, frequency, and temperature, and it continuously calculates total harmonic distortion for voltage and current. The optional MODBUS (RS485) output allows for the transmission of measured parameters, enhancing its integration into existing systems.
