The Model 2200, when used with the Model BBS/II Power Supply with Battery Backup, is a stand-alone, environmental gas monitor capable of measuring four different gas types in a simple package. Available sensor types are: Carbon Monoxide, Oxygen, Methane (combustible gases), Nitric Oxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Hydrogen Sulfide, Sulfur Dioxide, Ammonia, Ozone, Chlorine and Hydrogen. Each of the four channels may be configured separately to produce an alarm or warning at the user programmable setpoints. All gas concentrations are displayed on the LCD located on the front cover. One application for the 2200 is to measure diesel emissions (Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide, Nitric Oxide and Nitrogen Dioxide) and shut down equipment or activate alarms at specified alarm setpoints.
An embedded controller "computer chip" provides digital calibration that eliminates trimpots (potentiometers). Alarm and warning set points, alarm delay time and the user passcode are a few of the parameters that can be configured through the key pad located on the front panel. Programming through the key pad eliminates unnecessary opening of the enclosure to calibrate, test or configure the unit after initial installation. The unit is passcode protected to prevent unauthorized persons from changing setup parameters. Warning and alarm LEDs are visible on the front of the unit. Warning and alarm outputs are available for remote sounders, relays or strobes.
Gas types include:
Carbon Monoxide
Oxygen
Methane
Nitrogen Dioxide
Hydrogen Sulfide
Sulfur Dioxide
Hydrogen
and more...
Each of the four channels may be configured separately to produce an alarm or warning at the user programmable setpoints. All gas concentrations are displayed on the LCD located on the front cover. Common applications for the 2200 Series include simultaneous monitoring of carbon monoxide, oxygen and methane. The 2200 Series may also be used to measure diesel emissions (Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide, Nitric Oxide and Nitrogen Dioxide) and shut down equipment or activate alarms at specified alarm set points. Additionally one of the four channels can be ordered as the Anemometer sensor found on the Smart Remote Model 2177.
Digital calibration
Keypad programming
No potentiometers
Nonmetallic, high impact molded enclosure
Display LCD
Passcode protected
