The Series PS pilot-operated solenoid valve is a normally closed, in-line valve designed for high-pressure applications up to 140 PSI inlet and 70 PSI back pressure, requiring a minimum 5 PSI differential to operate. It features a PTFE bellows dynamic seal to prevent fugitive emissions and a patented Fail-Dry® visual warning system. Constructed entirely of thermoplastic with no wetted metal parts, it is compatible with acids, caustics, solvents, and chlorine solutions. Available in sizes from 1/2" to 3", it offers Cv values from 5.2 to 80. The valve operates with a 11-watt, NEMA 4X-rated molded coil and DIN connector. It is certified for continuous duty at ambient temperatures up to 104°F with voltage tolerances of +10%, -15%. Media must be filtered to 80 mesh or finer and free of particulates or crystallizing substances.
Series PS requires 5 psi greater pressure at inlet to function properly. Uses line pressure to assist operation, which allows extremely high Cv performance, as well as outstanding pressure ratings. Pilot valve features PTFE bellows. Sizes from 1/2″ to 3″ in a wide range of materials and connection types. Includes patented Fail-Dry advance warning vent.
