Prodigy ®/CME Stand-Alone boards provide high-performance board-level motion control for scientific, automation, industrial, and robotic applications in a stand-alone board format. Similar to other Prodigy/CME products, these boards provide the ability to download and run C-motion programs directly. These boards support Brushless DC, DC Brush, and step motor types, and are available in 1, 2, 3, and 4-axis configurations. Host communication interfaces include Ethernet, CANbus, RS-232, and RS-485. At the core of every Prodigy/CME Stand-Alone Board is a Magellan IC which speaks PMD's common language C-Motion, thereby ensuring compatibility with the entire range of PMD motion control products.
