ROMeye HD is a corona imager that incorporates a UVc detector and a HD visible camera allowing seeing UV corona discharges in daylight and recording their sight. Corona is invisible to the human eye and can only be seen with bi-spectral UV-Visible corona imagers.
ROMeye HD is a high-end camera core that incorporates Ofil’s proprietary DayCor® technology augmented by additional features to be qualified for flying conditions. The camera provides pinpointed information about UVc corona signals on remote inspected objects while on the move. ROMeye HD records HD video clips continuously without overheating, storing them onto an onboard SD card. The HDMI interface is used to display findings on an external monitor. Control over the camera is achieved through a selection of communication protocols. Moreover, its small dimensions, vibration & shock endurance, firmness and robust structure make it fit for a wide range of airborne gimballed payloads.
