NKK Switches Ultra-Thin Rocker GW22RBP

The GW series ultra-thin rockers are low-voltage, low-current logic-level switches designed for high-density PCB mounting in handheld equipment. The GW22RBP is a double-pole, SPDT circuit variant with a rocker actuator and straight PC terminals, featuring a 28° throw and 0.4VA maximum rating at 28V AC/DC. It has a contact resistance of 80 milliohms maximum, insulation resistance of 500 megohms minimum at 500V DC, and a dielectric strength of 500V AC for one minute. The actuator, case, and base are made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide (UL94V-0), with phosphor bronze contacts gold-plated. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C, with a mechanical and electrical life of 50,000 operations minimum. Terminals have a 2.54mm x 2.54mm spacing compliant with standard PCB grids. The switch includes a detent mechanism for crisp actuation and epoxy-sealed terminals for contamination resistance.
