The A Series is a family of sealed subminiature rocker switches designed for low-voltage, logic-level applications. The switches feature a snap-top actuator, glass fiber reinforced polyamide housing, and gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts with a maximum contact resistance of 50 milliohms. They offer nonshorting contact timing, a 26° angle of throw, and operate within a temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. Terminals have a 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) spacing compatible with standard PCB grids. The switches are rated for 0.4VA maximum under resistive loads at 28V AC/DC, with a mechanical life of 100,000 operations for On-None-On and On-Off-On circuits, and 50,000 for other configurations. The series has not been certified by UL or CSA. Terminal configurations include straight, right angle, and vertical options, and the switches support automated soldering and cleaning.
