Newport MKS Platform Optical Mount, 0.75 x 0.75 in, ±7° Adjustment, 8-32 MM-075-HEX

The MM-075-HEX Miniature Platform Optical Mount provides a stable mounting platform for 3/4 inch (19.1 mm) diameter mirrors. The M-MM-075-HEX can be post mounted as a horizontal tip/tilt platform using the 8-32 threaded hole in the back plate. It uses two 100-TPI threaded hex-key adjusters for a ±7° range. The UPA.5, UPA.75, UPA1, and UPA2 optic adaptors provide a convenient and stable method to hold mirrors from 0.5 to 2 inch (12.7 to 50.8 mm) diameter on the MM-075-HEX platform mount. The optic and adaptor can easily be removed and replaced with minimal realignment. Horizontal or Vertical Mounting Both MM-HEX and P100-P series can be post mounted as a horizontal tip/tilt platform using the threaded hole in the center or a vertical mount using the threaded hole on the side. U50-P ULTIMA platform mounts can also be mounted horizontally with adapter , which is already included in U50-P and U50-P1 models. Allen-Key Adjustment Allen-key adjustments screws are used in the miniature platform mounts to save space and prevent unintended adjustment. For long-term stability, U50-PL and U50-PL1 feature a flexure lock built into the mount body, which exerts a tangential force on the screw to prevent rotation. Dedicated Mirror Adapters Newport's Platform Mounts are complimented by a set of mirror cup adapters. The Mirror Cup Adapters are compatible with ULTIMA series and P100-P miniature platform mounts. They attach to the face of the platform mount through the 1/4-in. hole in the center of the platform and are locked in place by a set screw from the side. The Horizontal Adaptors attach to the mounting holes on an optical mount, providing a mechanism to convert the ULTIMA Platform Mounts to a post-mounted horizontal platform for mounting prisms, cube beamsplitters, or other components.
